THE CONVENTION - Medal of
Honor Society Awards for 2008
Several notable citizens will be honored at the Patriot Award Gala
on September 19, 2008.
Clint Eastwood will be receiving The Bob Hope Award for Excellence
in Entertainment recognizes Americans who have favorably portrayed
the United States military either in film or literature, and who
have a distinguished themselves in the entertainment world.

Ben Stein will be accepting the John Reagan "Tex" McCrary Award for
Excellence in Journalism for outstanding career achievement.
Proceeds from his book, The Real Stars: In Today's America, Who Are
the True Heroes?, will benefit the TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program
for Survivors) organization.
The Distinguished Citizenship Award pays tribute to individuals who
have made significant contributions to their communities and to
their fellow man and our nation. Bill Daniels will be receiving this
award posthumously.
